How war affected on me?

From 24th February we have a terrible war in Ukraine. For me this is a second time I faced the war. Since my birth I have lived in Donetsk (city on the East of Ukraine). This amazing city even took part in Euro 2012 where I was a volunteer. In 2014 the war has been starting in my hometown. I was a student, getting my masters and I should leave. It was hard and painful because it wasn’t my choice. I started to build my career and in 2022 I faced the war again.

Unfortunately, I was fired from my latest company due to major layoffs. It was also painful, because I liked my team my company and my project. What to do next - is to continue to grow. Yes, it is difficult but possible.

During the war I launched my small jewelry store (you can check its Instagram account https://www.instagram.com/lecollierdore/ ). This small project helps me to stay productive and earn a bit of money. 10% from sales I donate to volunteer organization which support animals in Ukraine. Even in such tough time there are people who support my business. In this project I made everything by myself - from idea to sending parcels to clients.

This experience is very hard to handle. But still we all stay brave and positive. Don’t even ask me if I’m a stress resistant, I’m freaking machine!) My superpower - I’m Ukrainian.
